Russ Wicks broke the world speed record for propeller-driven boats in the Miss Freei hydroplane, a record that once stood for more than 30 years.
After setting the record, Russ then qualified in unlimited hydroplane racing while piloting the legendary Miss Budweiser hydroplane on September 15, 2000.
