NHRA Licensed Runs in Frank Hawley's Top Alcohol Dragster
During September 2003, Wicks made his debut on the quarter-mile while attending Frank Hawley's Drag Racing School, and has received his NHRA Competition Driver's License for both Super Comp and Top Alcohol Dragster.
Wicks learned the fast way down the quarter-mile while making runs at Pomona, CA in the Super Comp Dragster and also Gainesville, FL in the Top Alcohol Dragster. With the legendary Frank Hawley as coach, Wicks made two of the most consistent 225+ MPH passes in history driving the Top Alcohol Dragster.
