Need for Speed: Boats
National Geographic Channel's "Need for Speed: Boats" will include World Speed Record Holder Russ Wicks and the American Challenge Team. The one-hour show is scheduled to air in high definition on Thursday, May 10th, 2007 at 8 PM EST and 11:00 PM EST. A rebroadcast is scheduled for Saturday, May 12, 2007, at 2:00 PM EST and then be in rotation throughout the year.
The show will provide an in depth look at how engineers, mechanics and daredevils push the boundaries of human possibility - all in their Need for Speed. Included is the American Challenge team's use of Autodesk Inventor for digital product design. Russ Wicks was also interviewed about his pursuit of speed records and what drives him towards being one of the fastest people on the planet.
