Wicks on NorthWest Cable News Morning Show

Seattle, WA (August 9, 2001) - Russ Wicks, American Challenge driver, was a guest on the NBC affiliate owned NorthWest Cable News Morning Show this morning at 7:30.   The show is hosted by Emmy award winning anchor couple Meg Coyle and Michael King.   Russ discussed the plans for the team's quest to break the world water speed record, and also unveiled a concept model of the American Challenge craft. www.nwcn.com

About Russ Wicks
American and Seattle native Russ Wicks is the driver for the American Challenge team.   On June 15, 2000, Wicks became the fastest man on water in a propeller-driven boat while racing across Lake Washington in an Unlimited Hydroplane.   The event received extensive media attention including coverage by ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX Sports as well as a 30-minute documentary featured on ESPN’s Speed World.
